About Dharti Mata Sustainable Workshop
Dhartimata Sustainable Workshop is a social enterprise based in Nepal. The Workshop studio is located in the beautiful permaculture learning farm ,Hasera Agriculture Research and Training Center in a mountainous village, outside of Kathmandu , Patalekhet ,Kavre, Nepal.
Our Lovelady eco-friendly pads are hand-made by local Nepalese women with natural materials at our workshop. We are committed to developing products that are friendly to the environment, and support women, and their families. For every pad you buy, you support the employment of these rural Nepalese women and help to create a more sustainable future.
From Mother Nature
Using naturally produced cotton, making caring pads for women that can be used joyfully; we receive the gift from Mother Earth.
Happy Period
Representing a transformation of experiencing your period as a joyful journey for a girl/woman, we support a positive and eco-friendly approach to menstruation, called ‘Happy Period Movement’.

In Sanskrit, Dharti Mata means “Mother-Earth”
Mother Earth nurtures the whole creation consistently giving, and asking nothing in return.
However, modern society makes endless demands on women and nature, thus harming the environment and threatening women’s well being.
We hope that through our work, we are able to rekindle a feminine awakening, as well as love and care for Mother Earth.
Our Vision
Awakening female consciousness and love for Nature; Inviting women to connect with Mother Earth; Nourishing our hearts, souls, and the land; Dhartimata’s core ethics and visions are to:
Promote the use of reusable cloth pads and a positive, female-friendly attitude towards menstruation in urban and rural Nepal. Be a part of the sustainable movement in Nepal.
Offer employment opportunities for rural women; develop working skills and a micro economy in the village.
Develop practical and sustainable products that are friendly to the environment, and support women, and their families.
