We care about the production process of each and every Lovelady pad at Dhartimata. Since a pad makes direct contact with one of the most sensitive and delicate parts of our body, we emphasize on using only natural and hygiene materials.

Dying the cotton yarn by soaking it in the valerian juice of beautiful pink color, weaving on the traditional handloom, combined with the traditional sewing technique, the organic vegetable dyed cloth pad is born.

Our Materials and processes

The natural cotton used to make the yarns, and then the fabrics to make Lovelady pads comes from Organic farmers in India.

The soft pink color of the organic fabric is from a valerian plant called’ Madder’. It is known by the name ‘Manjishtha’ in Sanskrit. It was used in traditional Ayurvedic medicines even in ancient times. The plant is believed to have healing properties.
